Who approves imports of regulated cargo into Mexico?

For firearms, ammunition, explosives and related items, Mexico's Ministry of National Defense, through import or export permits. The controlled tariff lines are listed in its agreement on regulated goods.

Mexico's Ministry of Economy requires a prior export permit for conventional arms, their parts and listed dual-use goods, based on regimes such as the Wassenaar Arrangement, and asks for an end-use and end-user statement.

Can Kold Gold obtain the permits?

No. Permits are issued by the authorities to the authorized importer or exporter. We only handle cargo that already holds them, for legitimate parties.

Does all protective equipment need a permit?

Not necessarily. It depends on its tariff classification and whether it appears on the official lists; its use and export may have their own rules. It's reviewed case by case.
