We import 2–8 °C pharmaceuticals. We worry about the time cargo spends in customs. How is temperature protected at that stage?

How is the cold chain maintained during customs clearance in Mexico?

Kold Gold answer Kold Gold In the cold chain, risk usually sits in the handovers: unloading, inspection and waiting. What helps most:
· Documents ready before arrival, to reduce time at the terminal. · Reefer container plugged in, or a temperature-controlled area while clearance is in progress. · Data loggers from origin, read on arrival. · Advance coordination with the health authority when the goods require it. · Refrigerated trucking ready for release.
Kold Gold holds a COFEPRIS license and runs monitored cold-chain operations, coordinating clearance with its allied customs broker. Clearance times are always estimates.
